Create A Culture That Celebrates

Being Human

Let's create workplace cultures that not only allow us to be human but celebrates that too!

Too often we're stuck thinking about the past (what I didn’t do last week), or the future (what I still need to do next). Rarely do we celebrate progress and the successes of the present moment. And being vulnerable, getting tired and making mistakes is natural, inevitable and it’s OK.

What human-ness can you celebrate today??

Take A Break and

Boost Your Productivity

Breaks have fallen out of fashion - these days. It's become our individual responsibility to decide when to take them, and as a result we often cut them short or skip them altogether!

It’s not just about self-care. We actually make better decisions and work more productively if we take breaks. It’s a fact!

Did you take a lunch break today???
If not, block out time for one tomorrow.

Eat the Rainbow (Ban the Beige)!
What we EAT affects our ability to create Ninja focus and maintain our ENERGY for the right level of productivity. And of course it fuels all of our bodily functions and our brain.

Our newest Productivity Ninja book focuses on How to Have the Energy and one of our favourite tips is to ‘eat the rainbow and ban the beige'.

Yep, the colour of your food really does count! Here is why...

Each food of a different colour contains specific micronutrients that fuel our body and brain in unique ways… a simple example – carrots contain carotenoids that sustain our vision acuity and boost our cognition. And if we are low in essential amoni acids like tryptophan (present in protein rich foods), we can suffer from low mood and low energy. Eat more protein rich foods and within weeks, we'll be feeling better, more energised and able to focus better.

Processed foods tend to be beige in colour (think bread or burger buns) and are generally low in nutrients – avoid these where you can and choose naturally bright colours instead. Your brain will thank you for it!
